Jonathan Jenney, Hons Bsc(Kin), MPT
Registered Physiotherapist

Jonathan Jenney is a registered physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. Along with Melanie, his wife, he is the owner of Active Physiotherapy Solutions and the Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic.

He completed his Bachelor of Science - Physiotherapy in 2000 at the University of Toronto. Prior to obtaining his Physiotherapy degree he attended the University of Western Ontario where he received an undergraduate degree in Honors Physical Education with a focus in Sports Injuries and a Bachelor of Education.

After completing his physiotherapy degree, he worked for a short period of time at a physiotherapy clinic in his home town of Tillsonburg. He then worked for 6 years as a partner in another physiotherapy clinic in Woodstock. In 2006, Jonathan, along with Melanie, opened Active Physiotherapy Solutions in Woodstock which continues to grow to this day. In 2014, they purchased the Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic which was the original private physiotherapy clinic in Woodstock, established 20 years ago.

Away from the clinics, Jonathan enjoys spending quality time with Melanie and his two children, Kira and Nathan. If not at a dance studio, hockey arena or on a soccer pitch, Jonathan can be found with his family camping, playing various sports activities or relaxing with family and friends.

Jonathan is passionate about our mission statement which is to provide professional, knowledgeable and compassionate care. He will continue to provide the residents of Woodstock and the surrounding area with the high level of care they deserve.

Parise Bois, Hons Bsc(Kin), MPT
Registered Physiotherapist

Parise joined our team at the Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic in December 2014 as our first bilingual therapist. She brought with her many years of experience specializing in orthopaedics. Parise completed her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University with Honours and continued to her Masters of Physical Therapy at University of Western Ontario, graduating in 2008. In her many years of practice, Parise has specialized in orthopaedics completing her Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Upper Manual Therapy Certification. She continues to compliment her exceptional hands-on techniques with her Acupuncture certifications. Parise has ambitions to continue her education and expand her knowledge base to continue to provide contemporary techniques to her clients.

Parise is very personable and empathetic towards all of her clients and supports them to overcome their rehab challenges.

Mike McQueen
Registered Physiotherapist

Mike is the newest member of our team at Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic, joining us in November 2016. Mike graduated with distinction from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. He continued his education at Western with a Masters of Physiotherapy, graduating in 2015. Since graduating, Mike's passion for learning and his desire to help others achieve their best outcomes with their injuries has led him to pursue many additional courses and certifications. Mike currently holds a certification in Acupuncture and has taken the Mulligan Concept for the lower extremity course as well as several exercise and mobilization courses. Mike has many plans to continue taking more courses in the near future to help ensure his clients' success.

When not at the clinic, Mike enjoys playing and watching various sports, as well as spending time with his wife and dog.

Tatiana Mercado Arias, PTA
Physiotherapy Assistant

Tatiana is a recent addition to our Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic team. She completed her Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma in Hamilton, Ontario. Tatiana arrived to Canada in 2006 and she is fluent in Spanish. She has had plenty of past experience, working as a personal support worker followed by working as a physiotherapy assistant at Wentworth Lodge Nursing Home in Dundas, Ontario. Tatiana is able to draw on these experiences to allow her to be empathetic and compassionate with all her clients. Her interests include spending time with her family, traveling, and watching movies. This fall Tatiana is going to be embarking on something completely new to her and is going to join the Women's Soccer League.

Mackenzie Perry, PTA
Physiotherapy Assistant

Mackenzie started with the Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic team in August of 2015. She graduated from St. Clair College with her Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma in 2014. Mackenzie is able to draw on previous experience from working with clients in a nursing home where she conducted group and one on one exercise programs. Mackenzie is excited to progress her career and continue gaining further experience in the physiotherapy profession. She has set some future career goals that include taking extra courses to increase her education with the eventual goal of possibly returning to school to become a physiotherapist. In her down time, Mackenzie enjoys exploring the local community that she has recently relocated to.

Christine Johnson, OTA/PTAdip, CPT, CSCS

Christine started at Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic in 2008 after completing her Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma with High Distinction at Conestoga College. Since starting at Woodstock Physio, Christine has acquired her ACE Personal Trainer Certification and Sports Conditioning Specialty Certification. She trains individuals with a wide variety of goals. Along with her PTA duties, Christine is also the office manager and is responsible for staff supervision, staff training and office operations. Her goals include wanting to expand on her practical techniques and continue to expand on her knowledge of exercises. When Christine is not at the clinic, she is busy chasing after her daughter.
